One of the most important international amateur championship MVK Turkish Amateur Open Championship take a start in Titanic Golf Club at 07.48 today.
66 amateur men and women golfers from 11 different countries will be playing in Titanic Golf Course during 12-15 September 2019.
The countries which attended the championship are ; Austria,Bulgaria,Czech Republic,Croatia,Denmark,Finland,Germany,Hungary,Holland,Italy,Kazakstan,Lebanon,Litvania,Malta,Russia,Serbia,Slovakia,Turkey.
At the end of the first round,in men’s category the leaders are ;Egor Eroshenko from Russia and Oliver Claireaux from United Kingdom played 70 strokes(-2) and in women’s category Nataliya Guseva from Russia and Lizzy Peeters from Netherlands played 69 strokes(-3) .
In the second place in men’s category Kasper Nyland from Denmark played 71 strokes(-1) and the third place is shared by Andy Borg from Malta,Egor Zotov from Russia,Lukas Kahl from Germany,Lucas Buerk from Crotia played 72 strokes (par) .
In women’s category the second place is from Germany with 76 strokes (+4) ,Ira Christina Wirth and the third place is shared by Ayşe Demir from Turkish National team and Ekatarina Petrova from Russia playing 77 strokes (+5).
On the 15th of September ,Prize presentation for men and ladies’ championships will take place together at the Tıtanic Golf Club as soon as the final round has been completed.
The winner shall receive a gold medal, the runner up a silver medal and the 3rd placed competitor a bronze medal. In the event of a tie for the silver or bronze medal, the places will be decided on the last 18, 9, 6, 3 or 1 holes in that order.
